Antigua Winds Extends "Power Bell" Saxophone Series

Antigua Winds proudly extends the "Power Bell Series" saxophone line featuring a stylized larger bell flare - creating a large darker sound with all the edge demanded by professional players. The NEW A521-LQ Power Bell Alto and A551-LQ Power Bell Tenor saxophones with clear lacquer finish compliment the black chrome and silver plated models introduced earlier in 2004. This series of instruments are ruggd in construction and powerful in tone and projection.

The newest member of Antigua Winds' power packed saxophone lineup, the "Power Bell Series", counts among its many features: a custom neck - precisely adjusted at the factory to each saxophone; meticulously drawn tone holes; power forged brass lacquered keys provide strength; and a detachable bow and bell increases accessibility for repair. An undeniable stage presence is created by the elaborately hand engraved bell, body, and neck.

Other features include: the high F# key for more challenging pieces; double bracing (2 arms) on the low C, B, and Bb keys to provide greater integrity, and double skin pads to ensure a tight seal. Full ribbed construction further strengthens the "Power Bell" Series instruments. A deluxe wood shell double stitched case completes the ensemble for this series.
